Driving Lesson

Driving lessons are two hours, private instruction, with door to door pick up and drop off in areas serviced. Lessons are behind the wheel only and taken in the school’s vehicle, which is equipped with dual brake.

Driving lessons put special emphasis on:

• Intersections and corners
• Safe driving speed
• Safe following distance
• Defensive driving
• Accident avoidance
• Parallel parking
• Lane changing; merging and yielding
• Correct usage and understanding of mirrors
• 360° awareness
• Proper steering techniques
• Parking in and negotiating parking lots

When ready, and the instructor and student are of the same opinion, the driving test can be taken at the end of last lesson. This last driving lesson, including the test, generally takes two and a half hours, and needs to be planned ahead.

The cost of each two hour lesson is $120.
Each lesson plan is dependent upon the experience of the student.
